  • 200ml milk chocolate from Lăptăria cu Caimac
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon culinary lavender
  • 300g frozen strawberries
  • 80g sugar
  • juice from ½ orange

Garnish:

  • fresh strawberries
  • leaves of mint

Preparation

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water
  2. In a small pot, mix together the fresh cream and milk chocolate. Add the sugar and culinary lavender. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it simmers, but not boiling.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and add the soaked and squeezed gelatin sheets. Stir until dissolved.
  4. 4. Cover the pot with a lid and let the mixture infuse for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Let the mixture cool before pouring it into the panna cotta molds/glasses.
  5. Refrigerate the molds/glasses for at least 6 hours or overnight.

Meanwhile, prepare the strawberry sauce.

  1. In a small pot, combine the frozen strawberries, orange juice, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries soften. Puree the mixture with a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Once the panna cotta has set in the refrigerator, spoon 3-4 tablespoons of the strawberry sauce over each mold/glass.
  3. Garnish with fresh strawberries and mint leaves
